May Pattern Pack – Colorful Techniques

TPP - May - HHM

Pattern Pack by Happily Hooked MagazineI’m so excited about this month’s Pattern Pack – Colorful Techniques! Most of my crochet time is spent on graphghans, crochet portraits, and color work. I love the challenge, and watching an image come to life on my hook is so satisfying. I often look down at a project when I’m done and am utterly surprised that I could make something so… well, cool!

Have you ever felt that way? That almost awe that you’ve created this amazing thing?

Well! May’s Pattern Pack has 6 exclusive color work patterns from our talented designers, not to mention the additional free patterns from around the web and our friends at Red Heart.

My favorites this month are the Whitney Tapestry Tote by Amber Millard of Divine Debris, and the delicately elegant Color Block Tam by Emily Truman of Em’s Corner.

Look for May’s Pattern Pack – Colorful Techniques – in the Gold Member area of Happily Hooked! Not a Gold Member? No worries! The Pattern Pack is available on Ravelry as well.

What are your favorite patterns from Colorful Techniques? Which will you be making?

Emily is a WAHM of 4 children. She is the Editor of Happily Hooked Magazine and Pattern Pack Pro and the owner of Em’s Corner. She spent her years before children as a middle school math teacher, but now enjoys crocheting at her kids’ sporting events and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She loves to teach her children and her nieces and nephews to crochet. When she’s not crocheting, she’s outside with her camera. She was raised in San Diego but now finds herself in the very hot Southern California desert.
