The Serenity Shawl by Michele Costa

Shades of violet mix with neutrals for a shawl that is light and luxurious.

The Designer: Michele Costa

Michele Costa was born and raised in NYC and loved all things yarn since she was a child. Despite having a successful career in television production, Michele began to dream of starting her own business designing and creating modern crochet & knitwear. Michele took a leap of faith and opened an Etsy shop and was stunned when, within 2 days, her items were selling out and people were asking about her designs. Since then it has been full steam ahead creating hand crochet & knit creations. In 2016 she launched the blog Stitch & Hustle for the maker community.

Emily is a WAHM of 4 children. She is the Editor of Happily Hooked Magazine and Pattern Pack Pro and the owner of Em’s Corner. She spent her years before children as a middle school math teacher, but now enjoys crocheting at her kids’ sporting events and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She loves to teach her children and her nieces and nephews to crochet. When she’s not crocheting, she’s outside with her camera. She was raised in San Diego but now finds herself in the very hot Southern California desert.
