The Garden City Scarf by Debbie Richardson

This reversible scarf has two very unique and gorgeous stitch patterns.

The Designer: Debbie Richardson

Debbie is a wife and mother of three adult children. She learned to crochet in an after school program. At the time, she took it very seriously, designing many outfits and blankets for her dolls. With three children to raise, she put those hooks down and didn’t pick them up again until her youngest son brought home many bags of remnant yarn. She pulled out the hooks, learned to read patterns, and started a group called Redeemed Remnants. Over the last few years, she and her group have donated items to children all over the world. Her journey has now come full circle and she has begun designing again.

Emily is a WAHM of 4 children. She is the Editor of Happily Hooked Magazine and Pattern Pack Pro and the owner of Em’s Corner. She spent her years before children as a middle school math teacher, but now enjoys crocheting at her kids’ sporting events and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She loves to teach her children and her nieces and nephews to crochet. When she’s not crocheting, she’s outside with her camera. She was raised in San Diego but now finds herself in the very hot Southern California desert.
