Simple stitches combined with color-changing yarn yield a quick project which is snug and warm.

The Designer: Hillary Thompson

Hillary Thompson lives in northern Indiana with her husband and 5 kids. She learned to crochet at age 10 but didn’t really do much with it until the birth of her first child in 2003. Wanting to make him a baby blanket, she picked up her hooks again and has been crocheting almost every day since. A friend helped her open a business on facebook selling finished items. After a few years of taking custom orders, she made the decision to shift her focus to pattern design and opened up a shop on Ravelry. Her favorite things to make are amigurumi and photo props for her kids but her shop features a variety of patterns in other categories as well.
