Fall Crochet Patterns: Wow! You Mean It’s Really Fall Already???

Wow! It’s fall??? Already? Is it really time to pull out the fall crochet patterns? I mean, in my mind it’s still June: Summer’s just begun and I have endless days of shining sun ahead of me.

So, imagine my surprise when I looked at my calendar yesterday and discovered we’re well into… October???

I’m sad to say this, but it isn’t summer anymore, people; it’s fall!

(Don’t believe me? Well, check out Exhibit A:)

~Exhibit A: An autumn leaf. It apparently fell from a tree.~

This isn’t the first time fall has nearly slipped past me unnoticed. I pretty much almost forget about it every year. I this this is because for me, the four seasons are as follows:

1) Spring
2) Summer
3) Oh-my-goodness-I-have-to-begin-my-holiday-crochet-projects
4) Winter

(And it really doesn’t help that many stores begin trucking in their holiday decorations the third week of August.)

Well, this year’s going to be different. Now that I’ve actually registered the fact that it’s fall, I’ve decided I’m going to dedicate some time to crocheting something fall-like for a change.

And I hope you’ll join me on HHM’s Facebook Dash group for some fall fun with our Autumn Stash Mini Dash! (Join HERE)
