Crochet Rose By Elena Lepretre

Crocheting over a wire helps this rose hold its shape.

The Designer: Elena Lepretre

Inspired by Nature, Eléna Leprêtre creates realistic 3D crochet flowers, jewelry and accessories. Everything started when a distant image of a flower crocheted by her talented grandma rises in her memory and gives birth to “Nature aux Fils”. Because Eléna considers herself a bad crocheter, she invents her own techniques that permit her to obtain the needed result quite easily. She is looking for a creative reuse in everything she sees, and tries to innovate, and create something unusual yet beautiful. Linguist by profession, crafter and artist in her soul, she crochets and eternalizes her nature and invites you to her universe!

Emily is a WAHM of 4 children. She is the Editor of Happily Hooked Magazine and Pattern Pack Pro and the owner of Em’s Corner. She spent her years before children as a middle school math teacher, but now enjoys crocheting at her kids’ sporting events and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She loves to teach her children and her nieces and nephews to crochet. When she’s not crocheting, she’s outside with her camera. She was raised in San Diego but now finds herself in the very hot Southern California desert.
