1. Sweet Stripes Sunhat by Lisa Fox
It’s about that time of year, we’re getting ready for more outdoor time and breaking out the sunscreen. It’s the perfect time to whip up a few of these easy-to-make sunhats!
The top pattern comes with modifications for sizes infant through adult. It’s fast to work up, and great for newer crocheters. Be sure and use cotton or something breathable if you’ll be using this hat during the summer months.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Yarn: #4 worsted weight cotton yarn
- Tools: J/10 (6.0mm) hook, H/8 (5.0mm) hook, stitch marker, yarn needle

2. Tropical Island Pillow by Jessica Fishman
Can’t get to the beach? Bring the beach to you! This Tropical Island Pillow embraces the vibrant colors of summer and gives you happy, outdoor vibes even when you’re indoors.
The pattern is rated Intermediate and is done in a modified c2c stitch. Have bobbins ready for all the color changes…the great thing is, it’s a pillow, so you can hide all those ends inside!

3. Climbing Leaves Scarf by Kenneth Cormier
We love this light, lacy, and luxurious scarf design! It’s perfect for cool summer nights and makes a lovely accessory for a night out.
The stitchwork is open and the yarn (if you use cotton or linen) is breathable, making this the perfect lightweight scarf. Though rated Intermediate, advanced beginners should give it a try…the way to grow is to take on new challenges.

4. Tunisian Crochet Toucan Shawl by Maxine Gill
This light and breezy shawl is the perfect spring project, especially if you’re using a breathable, cotton-based yarn. The recommended colorway mimics the beak of a Toucan! Experienced Tunisian crocheters will find this project easy. If you’re new to Tunisian, that’s okay! This is the perfect opportunity to give it a go!

Who doesn’t support the bees? Show your love for our essential friends by crocheting this adorable colorwork clutch.
If you’re not used to yarn changes, this is a great opportunity to learn with only a few different colors. The project works up fast and is great for beginners and experts alike!

2. Lola Market Bag by DeniMade

3. Niscala Doily by Tayu Purnamasari
This sweet, delicate doily is great for the tabletop or mounted and hung in the window as a suncatcher. Either way, it’s an excellent gift!
You can use different sizes of yarn or thread to change the look and size of the doily. The pictured doily is made from #2 weight yarn and comes out to about 8 inches in diameter.

4. Zen Garden Scarf by Tracee From
Everyone needs an in-between-seasons scarf, and there’s no better pattern for this than the Zen Garden Scarf. The wide eyelet design makes it light and breezy. And there’s gorgeous texture from the puff clusters.
Though it’s rated Intermediate, adventurous beginners can use this as an opportunity to learn a couple more challenging stitches.

1. Stash the Rainbow Basket by Tracee Fromm
What color combinations could you come up with from your yarn stash? This basket uses 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together and is the perfect chance to use up some of your scraps!
The basket comes in at 10” in diameter and 9” tall. With the rope handles, you can even use it as a tote. Rated easy, this project is for artists of all levels.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Yarn: # 4 worsted or Aran weight yarn
- Tools: I/9 (5.5mm) hook, stitch marker, (2) ⅜-inch white twisted rope 18-inches long, (4) 0.5-inch grommets, yarn needle

2. Pop of Color Basket by Lisa Fox
Don’t you love art that’s cute AND useful? This sturdy basket finishes at 12 inches in diameter and 10 inches tall. The tight weave makes it perfect for storing more yarn or catching keys or jewelry.
Though rated Intermediate, this could be a fun project for adventurous beginners. The best way to learn and grow is to pick a project you love and dive on in!

3. Dolce Shawl by Elisabeth Davis de Herraiz
Looking for a delicate, springtime shawl pattern? This design is delicate and elegant. Using a gradient yarn gives you the beauty of multiple colors without having to worry about color changes.
Special stitches for this pattern include the crossed double-crochet, the shell stitch, and the picot. The pattern is rated Intermediate, but advanced beginners can try it with confidence.

If you have any thread in your stash, you won’t need to buy more. This design is very detailed and definitely requires a firm foundation of skills.

The mosaic design gives this phone holder a little pop of uniqueness that catches the eye. It’s a smaller, quicker project, and also a great way to try out mosaic crochet if you never have before.
With the market season coming up, this would be an excellent product to keep in your booth. It’s rated Intermediate due to the length of the pattern directions and the technique.

Here’s the latest design from our favorite amigurumi designer duo, Beardie and Blondie! Sherbet the Sheep provides a variation on the typical amigurumi design in that it uses a puff stitch for the body of the sheep rather than just straight singles.
Whether you’re an experienced amigurumi maker or are venturing into your first amigurumi project with this design. Sherbet is a fun and accessible pattern!
WARNING: If you decide to make Sherbet the Sheep for the newest quarantine baby in your life, consider embroidering eyes rather than using safety eyes.

1. The Rainbow Starlight Blanket by Krisztina Anna Matejcsok-Edomer
This blanket is a burst of color that is sure to make you smile. The pattern itself is addictive and easy to follow. It’s rated Intermediate for some specialty stitches, such as the extended front post double crochet and the cluster stitch. However, if you’re an enterprising beginner ready to expand your skills, this blanket pattern could be the perfect project!
You can choose soft tones in a DK weight or baby yarn for an amazing baby shower gift. Or up the size using worsted weight yarn for a lovely couch throw or housewarming gift.

2. Sunny Skies Mat by Varsha V
The beautiful mandala mat looks complex, but it is created with simple stitches. It is mostly a double crochet and chain stitches in different combinations. It’s rated as Easy, but it’s essential to follow the pattern carefully to achieve the gorgeous design.
The pattern, written as-is, works up to 24-inches in diameter, and would make a lovely center table mat under flowers or the main dish. Use heavier yarn and a larger hook for a larger finished piece. Choose your own colors for a different look!

3. The Sunrise Mountains Wall Hanging by Pilar Juan
This gorgeous tapestry is created in #2 or sport weight cotton yarn. For the most part, the stitchwork is basic, but it’s labeled Intermediate due to the color changes. However, if you’re ready to expand your skills, this is a great project to practice changing colors.

This delightful afghan is bright and graphic and is a wonderful project to make for a best friend or family member. It’s created with half double crochets with a puff stitch border but rated Intermediate because it involves color changes and carrying colors.

5. The Solar Flare Tunisian Shawl by Aklori Designs
Whether you love Tunisian crochet or are ready to expand your skills and give it the first try, this shawl is the pattern for you!
You make it using 4-ply fingering weight yarn. You’ll want to choose a yarn you find pleasant to the touch, and that results in a good drape. Its crescent shape and pretty colorway make this a shawl you’ll go back to again and again. The designer has even provided a link for extra support in the pattern.
