August’s Top 5 New Crochet Patterns — Back to School Crochet Designs!

top 5 crochet patterns

This month’s top 5 crochet patterns celebrate the upcoming school year — in whatever form it takes. Back to school is just around the corner … and it’s an uncertain time for all of us. School is going to look a LOT different this year. 👀

But some things remain certain:

🛒 There will be school supply shopping.
👩‍🏫 Teachers will be decking out their classrooms.
💗 EVERYONE wants the kids to learn and grow and have fun.

So in the spirit of those certainties …

A sneak peek at 5 of the patterns inside our Back to School issue!

1. The Note Paper Tote Bag by Bethany Pratt

This would be a fantastic way to tell your child’s teacher “thank you” for all she does!

The original design is made with Lion Brand Feels Like Butta, but you can use any worsted weight yarn. Cotton is especially nice for tote bags.

(Helpful hint: Check out YarnSub to find a substitution for yarns you don’t have. That’s just one of the tips we shared in our Happily Hooked Membership group on Facebook. For our subscribers ONLY.)join button
