Has risen in popularity over recent years. While we all have our fair share of homemade scarves and beanies at home, Kate Spade’s Spring 2020 collection shows that this trend is making headlines in a big way. Indeed, there’s no reason you can’t wear crochet fashion all year round!
The beautiful thing is that the sky is truly the limit, and with enough know-how, you can create sophisticated outfits with your creations. If you’re looking for some fashion inspiration, below are a few fabulous ways to wear your creations.

Dresses
Dresses are by far the most popular way to wear this trend (aside from accessories, which we’ll get to in a minute). Kate Spade’s collection features maxi-length slip dresses, but the key to rocking your own look is by finding a dress style that suits your shape. Pretty Me’s list of the best dress styles highlights that shirt dresses are a good option because you can vary their length. You can also add a belt to cinch in your waist!

Bralettes
The bralette trend is a bit more daring, but it’s definitely made some waves among influencers and fashionistas alike. Marie Clarie’s styling guide recommends pairing a blazer over a simple bralette tank top. If you don’t want your outfit to be too revealing, you can simply button up your blazer and let your top peek through. Pairing this look with tailored pants and a pair of strappy heels creates an outfit that exudes sophistication while still being on-trend. Of course, another alternative is to wear this bralette on your beach trips!
Bottle Holders
Bottle holders are an easy project to do at home, and they give a charming touch to whatever outfit you’re wearing. Chances are you’re already lugging around a reusable water bottle on your errands, so why not dress it up with a cute holder? You can play with the design of the holder itself, whether you want a looser, mesh-like look or one adorned with star stitches. Bottle holders or carriers also make great holiday gifts, and you can use select colors depending on the recipient’s personality.

Skirts
Take a cue from Eckhaus Latta’s flowy skirt and make your own. After all, your creations aren’t just for dressing your upper body! One of the most significant benefits is that it tends to hug your body beautifully, leading to some extremely flattering skirts. A mermaid skirt works on practically every body shape. Try one out of lightweight yarn to use as part of your beach ensemble.
