FREE Classic Clutch Purse Crochet Pattern by Ems Corner!

The minute that I saw Downton Abbey on a yarn label, I knew I had to try some! The Downton Abbey yarn collection comes from Premier Yarns and features different weights and fiber blends, each named after a distinguished character from the PBS English period drama. Enjoy this FREE Classic Clutch Purse pattern with your Downton Abby yarns.
Lady Mary is a 95% acrylic, 5% metallic DK weight yarn to match her glamorous personality. Lady Sybil is a sport weight blend of acrylic, mohair, and polyamide, to complement her gentle, yet strong, personality. Matthew is a classic worsted acrylic, wool, viscose tweed blend is neutral colors. While I am still determined to try all of the yarns in this line, I worked with Branson, a bulky yarn blend of 80% acrylic and 20% wool. It comes in gently heathered solid in deep, thoughtful colors to accentuate the thoughtful, bold, and determined personality of Branson. Despite the strong opinions of the character Branson, he had some very tender moments in the show, and you will notice that this strong, thick yarn, is actually very soft and warm. Each 100 gram skein contains 153 yards which is the perfect size to make a complete project. I always seem to run out of bulky yarn with a yard to go with most bulky skeins since they usually have less than 110 yards. Branson is machine washable and dryable. I love easy care! What would you make with this yarn? This yarn would be great for thicker blankets and accessories. Warm sweaters and scarves will be delightfully soft. Any textured stitches would show nicely because this yarn has wonderful stitch definition.
