CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

Capricorn crocheters are lightning-fast and because they suffer from extreme FOMO, they enter every crochet challenge they find, whether it’s online or at a State Fair. They win most of the time, too.

Recommended pattern: America’s favorite mile-a-minute afghan

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18)

Aquarius crocheters love to bring all things together into harmony. They work well with motifs or symbols and love a good fringe.

Recommended pattern: Granny square vest, man

PISCES (February 19 – March 20)

via GIPHY

Pisces crocheters are incredibly artistic and often stray from already created patterns into their own designs. They tend to stick to themselves rather than join a group.

Recommended pattern: One sock — let's call it a Christmas stocking for the dog

ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

via GIPHY

Aries crocheters will pick up a project just because it catches their eye, and they won’t give up on it until it’s finished. A tricky stitch won’t throw off any Aries!

Recommended pattern: 52-color floral afghan with hand-dyed border

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Taurus crocheters have elegant stitches and may often work with thread or lightweight yarn. Classic patterns are the choice for a classic Taurus!

Recommended pattern: Pineapple lace tablecloth

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)

via GIPHY

Gemini crocheters enjoy crocheting with a stitch-and-bitch group and may even host one of their own. They’ll help you work through a crochet issue when you’re stuck, but you’ll get a lot of sass in the process.

Recommended pattern: Wall hanging … with curse words

CANCER (June 21 – July 22)

via GIPHY

Cancer crocheters put their hearts and souls into every stitch and probably already have your birthday present made. Every baby in their family gets a personalized crochet blanky.

Recommended pattern: Amigurumi mini-me and wardrobe

LEO (July 23 – August 22)

via GIPHY

Leo crocheters usually teach everyone around them to crochet, whether they want to or not. Most crochet instructors are Leos (or are possessed by them).

Recommended pattern: King-size sampler square afghan

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

via GIPHY

Virgo crocheters know every crochet tip and hack from foundation stitches to perfectly straight sides to invisible joins. If you want a flawlessly crocheted item, ask a Virgo to make it.

Recommended pattern: Crocheted wedding dress

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)

via GIPHY

Libra crocheters are jack-of-all-crocheters. They can pick up just about any pattern but have a hard time choosing which one to do. Hence, Libras have more WIPs (works in progress) than any other zodiac sign.

Recommended pattern: None if > 4 WIPs, simple dishcloth if < 4 WIPs

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)

via GIPHY

Scorpio crocheters want you to acknowledge all the hard work that goes into crochet, so thank them profusely if they make you something. They’re also highly motivated by gifts of yarn.

Recommended pattern: Matching hat and mittens, but skip the scarf (for safety’s sake)

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)

via GIPHY

Sagittarius crocheters love to join all the crochet groups and chat with everyone in them. They the first to post a crochet meme just about every day.

Recommended pattern: Beer and wine cozies with the group logo

Please note: These patterns are not available. They were created by a digital artist for her own use.
