The Designer: Serah Basnet
Serah Basnet is an amigurumi designer from the Himalayas. Fascinated by yarn in all its forms and applications, especially the art of toy making, Serah taught herself to crochet in 2012. Since then, she has been putting her hook to good use and designing toys for kids and grown-ups alike. Her patterns—created under the brand name Tales of Twisted Fibers—have been published in amigurumi books and featured on craft sites. Born and raised in Sikkim, Serah now lives in Kathmandu with her husband and two furbabies. She’s well-liked by most dogs and all her neighborhood crows.
