You may recognize the designer behind this cute crochet hat and cowl set!  This beauty was created by Happily Hookeds own Shawna Underwood.  Shawna taught herself to crochet 16 years ago, and for most of that time she has been designing patterns for herself, recently she started to sell her patterns.  She loves adding color in most projects for visual interest. You can find her at “Lilly’s lil’ Knits” on Facebook.  Shawna also has a Ravelry page – go show some love! 💗

The Gemstone Wrap crochet pattern is an easy to make crochet pattern with hints of diamonds & jewels and just the right amount of colorwork.  Claire Goodale is the designer and maker behind the crochet blog E’Claire Makery. Having been crocheting since she was 7 years old, she’s been dreaming about being a crochet designer for years. She loves creating designs that feature crochet colorwork to make pictures with yarn, which is something I think we all love.  You can find more of Claire’s work on her website Eclaire Makery and in her Etsy Store.

The Christine Bracelet is a stunningly beautiful and delicate crochet pattern with an elegant feel.  You may recognize Amber’s patterns from our previous issues, specifically, the Retro Cozy Apron from December’s Cozy Cabin Issue.   When Amber was 11, her grandmother taught her to read patterns, and she hasn’t put her hook down since.  She loves to crochet jewelry and amigurumi toys, and her favorite yarn is cotton.   You can find more of Amber’s work on her Instagram page Amber Bliss This.

The Shimmer Shawl by Elisabeth Herraiz is airy, fresh, and easy to create.  Elisabeth has been hooked on crochet since 2007 and has been publishing crochet patterns since 2012. She loves to crochet and knit and hopes to pass on that passion and inspire both veteran and new crafters alike to pick up their yarn and get lost in the stitches!  Her work can be found on her Instagram at Elizy Art and her blog at Elizy Art

The Sparkle Earrings by Cara Louise are dainty, delicate, and versatile.  They can be turned into hairclips! Cara is a proud member of our Happily Hooked team too and we love her.  Cara Louise has been crocheting since about 1974 at the age of 8 when her Mother taught her with regular yarn and larger crochet hooks.  A few years later, Cara found her grandmothers smaller hooks and doily, and fell in love.  She created her first doily and loves to work with small hooks today.  You can find more of Cara’s work on Ravelry and on her Instagram page.
